Speech Title:
All My Inconsistency and Procrastination
Born in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan, Luna Kase dropped out of high school just a half year after she enrolled. She did not fit in “school” well, and her living at that time was messed up. However, she got “Certificate for Students Achieving the Proficiency Level of Upper Secondary School Graduates” a year later and passed the exam for a university she dreamed of attending in 2 years because there were lots of help from people who supported her. She started her own small business, running an online language school, when she was in her junior year. It has been 2 years since then; the number of students has been increased especially after she started to learn Rinri, and 3 Serbian teachers will join as assistant teachers from this January on. She launched a Japanese school for JLPT (JAPANESE LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY TEST) in the summer this year, too. Additionally, a professional volleyball team in Japan offered her to be a translator for foreign competitive players who joined the team this year. One of her dream jobs, since the time she started to learn English, has begun this fall. New job, new people, new opportunities move her forward to the next steps of her life; at the same time, these are showing her many challenges in front of her right now. She will talk about how she tries to overcome those with lessons from Rinri. She is still a learner, but she hopes that her story would encourage some people who are in the similar situation.
